Ahh yes, another scatter brained post. Well not really, more like short and sweet. I have to admit there is a ton going on in my head and I’d love to write it all out in a Dear Diary session, but I don’t have time. Haha. Sometimes I think its best just to push through the week and BREATHE on the weekend. Not every week, just “those” weeks.
Anyway, when my mind get all clogged up, I find it’s best to keep things simple, short, and sweet. So today I have the double. A thirty minute workout and a less than thirty minute recipe (pseudo recipe if you may). Ready for it?
Get ‘er done!
Warm up 5 minutes on Bike
20 reps of each exercise (minus the bike)
Stability Ball Push Ups
Weighted Bosu squat
walking lunges with bicep curl
TRX tricep extensions
Stability Ball Pikes
Cross Toe touch Crunch on BOSU
1 leg Pistons
1/2 mile on bike
Repeat 3x. (3X Took me around 30-35 minutes)
Freezer Cleanse Tacos
I say pseudo recipe because really it was what was left in the freezer.
-
package of frozen corn
-
salmon burger
-
chicken apple sausage (can easily use tofu/egg/tempeh instead)
-
corn tortillas
Other ingredients needed: Cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, oil, cumin, garlic, avocado, cilantro, lime juice.
Throw (yes throw! jk) the corn on the skillet, let it steam a bit then add in some cilantro, lime juice, diced cherry tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar. Mix and set to low temp. On another skillet, cook your salmon burger and chop your chicken sausage. Add a little cumin, garlic, and oil then cook on medium to medium high heat until meat is thoroughly cooked (about 10 minutes). Warm your tortillas, spoon up your corn mix and meat mix, place in tortilla and top with avocado slices. For more spice add Cholula sauce.
Don’t like cilantro? Use bell pepper instead (that’s for you Kris).
BAM! Told ya it was short and sweet!
Thirty Minute Thursday x 2. You can handle that, right?
What’s your go to pseudo recipe?
Cheers,
LC
p.s.
I need a thirty minute Thursday button. Wait, that means I’d actually have to post every Thursday, right?
